Meet Our Team

John has more than 40 years of experience in the oilfield industry, operating, constructing, and servicing equipment and supplies. He worked as a drilling contractor in the Abilene area for 10 years and has been at the helm of EC Tool ever since.

Randy joined EC Tool after graduating from Hardin-Simmons University in 1977. He managed the Abilene and Mineral Wells stores during the 1970s and ’80s. With more than 35 years of experience with drilling contractors, Randy is an expert on parts and expendables, especially for duplex pumps. He also helps contractors quickly locate spare parts at competitive prices. If the part is available, Randy can find it for you, even if it’s not in our inventory.

Kevin joined EC Tool after he graduated from McMurry University in 1980. Throughout the decade, he acquired parts for the EC Tool repair facility and machine shop and tracked all repair and rebuilding jobs. He maintains a vast working knowledge about the parts needed on drilling rigs.

While attending Texas A&M, James worked summers as a mechanic in the repair and fabrication shop. Since graduating in 2003, he has managed the shop while also selling equipment.

Becky came to EC Tool as the switchboard operator in 1981. After graduating from McMurry University, she passed her CPA exam and quickly took over as accounting manager.
